Gavin Murphy - Chef/Co-owner
Gavin has been in the catering industry since the tender age of 13 and trained as a chef in Killybegs Hotel Training School 1982-1984. Since completing his training Gavin has worked in various restaurants and hotels around the UK and Ireland, gaining the experience needed to operate a busy restaurant kitchen. Since moving to Northern Ireland in 1995, Gavin has received many awards for his skills as a leading chef. Such awards include Gold, Silver and Bronze medals from leading culinary competitions and Runner-Up NI Chef of the Year for 2 years running. Since reducing his teaching hours as a part-time lecturer in Fermanagh College, Gavin has more time to spend creating new and innovative dishes for Scoffs & Uno.
